Elaine Stritch: Shoot Me

I saw this doc last April at the Tribeca Film Festival.  And let me come clean, I wasn't really all that familiar with Elaine Stritch before seeing it.  But after having seen it, I became an instant fan.  How can you not?  She's inimitable!  She's like a cross between Joan Rivers and Phyllis Diller!  Even in her late eighties, she has so much spunk and is so damn entertaining, you won't be able to help but enjoy following her around for 80 minutes.   So check this one out, and pair it with 'Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work' for a great double feature!

'Elaine Stritch: Shoot Me' is now available on Video on Demand.

Grade: A

Who is this movie for?  Fans of spunky old ladies, Broadway legends, and light hearted documentaries about people who have led really interesting lives.
