Vincent D'Onofrio plays an everyman middle class father and husband who wrestles with the same issues many of us do. He hasn't been able to make his dreams come true and wants what his showy friends seem to have. Instead he just works at a bank where he doesn't get the promotion he thinks he deserves, his wife (Kyra Sedgwick) is unhappy with his lack of success, and his teenage girl and boy are facing their own growing pains. But no one achieves the American Dream without taking risks and making some choices that may have consequences.
'Chlorine' deserves much better than the relatively poor reviews on the internet. The cast is great and it's a pretty smooth watch and one of the best I've seen this year on VOD. It's a pretty good choice if you want to see something short and less well known at home for only $7 on Video on Demand.
Who is this movie for? Anyone who's ever felt they deserve a little more out of life then they've gotten.
