Black Sea

Submarine films aren't generally something I look forward to but Black Sea ranks pretty high among the genre.  Jude Law headlines an ensemble as a laid off submarine captain who gathers a team of Russians and Brits to go treasure hunting for a sunken Nazi sub filled with gold.  It's tense.  It's gritty.  It's claustrophobic.  And it'll keep you on the edge of your seat right until the end credits.

Grade: B+

Who is this movie for?  If you want a tense, claustrophobic, gritty submarine thriller, then this is a great choice for you this weekend.
