My favorite documentaries are the ones about people (as opposed to issues). I love docs about interesting people who lead interesting lives. And if you get full participation from the subject, even better.
You probably have some awareness of Anthony Weiner, the congressman who shared his wiener via text. But whatever your knowledge or opinion of him, this is one hell of an interesting watch, as a fly on the wall while he runs for Mayor of New York, all the while doing damage control as the scandal breaks. Some may find him deeply disturbed, and others may find him sympathetic. But regardless, you'll be glued to it.
Who is this movie for? It's one of my favorite movies of the year so far and I think most adults will thoroughly enjoy it too.
